Warren Ayer owned a farm in Goffstown, NH for many years and for a time was a milk dealer. in the late 1800's he owned one of two store's in town in Merrimack, NH. There was a function room on the second floor that would be rented out and was known as Ayer Hall. He owned a house near the store, before moving to Manchester. He owned the north east portion or Erie St in Manchester. He built the house at 39 Erie St. in 1914. Most of his family lived there until their deaths.
