MRS. IVY ALTON
Mrs. Ivy Alton, age 86 years, 109 West Rogers Street, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on April 17, 1964 in St. Joseph Hospital. She had been ill for six months. (West Bend, Wis.)
The deceased was born on October 17, 1877 in Rubicon, and was married to George Alton on November 15, 1896, in Hartford. He died on September 14, 1911. She spend her entire lifetime in this vicinity and worked as forelady at the Bear Brand Hosiery Co., until they left the city.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Zurn and Miss Florence Alton, and son, Raymond, all of Hartford; also seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ralph Keller in the 1st Methodist church on Monday April 20, at 2 p.m. with interment in Union Cemetery.
The Berndt funeral home was in charge.
