New Concord--Services for Preston Addy, 83, Zanesville, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mock-Miller Funeral Home. Burial will be in Norwich United Presbyterian Church.

A former employee of Armco Steel, Mr. Addy died at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, following a long illness.

He was born July 3, 1897 in Guernsey County,, the son of the late James and Ella Kennedy Addy, and spent most of his lifetime in the Norwich area. He was a retired employee of Owens-Corning Fiberglass at Newark.

Mr. Addy leaves his wife, the former Audrey Harbin; three sons, Karl of Pataskala, Glen of Norwich, and Kent of Zanesville; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Eloise) Vernon, North Canton, Miss Barbara Addy and Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Poole, both of Zanesville; 11 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Julian (Martha) White of Toledo and Mrs. Kenneth (Edna) Ray of Hanoverton. Two sons are deceased, Delbert Ray Addy on June 15, 1963 and Russell Duane Addy on Jan. 1, 1965.

Two sisters and one brother are also deceased.
