Mrs. Lurline Stewart Murray, 80, formerly of Creston, Wirt County, died in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Tuesday evening, May 12, following a long illness. She was born Sept. 7, 1883, at Burning Springs, daughter of the late Dr. David S. and Emma Robey Stewart.

Survivors include two brothers, Paul and Clyde Stewart, both of Creston, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Mackey, of Glendale, California. Her husband, John H. Murray, preceded her in death along with three brothers and a sister. She was a member of the Creston Methodist Church.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday afternoon, May 15, at the Depue Cemetery where interment was made. The Rev. Ezra Higgins officiated and Pomroy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
