Medical Center. She was 84, a native
and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at
Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825
Government St., noon until religious
services at 3 pm. Friday, conducted by
the Rev. Jerry Ratcliff. Burial in
Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by
three daughters, Mrs. Lavada Heath
Houston, Texas, Mrs. Frances Boutte,
Alexandria, and Dorothy Chance,
Mitchell; a son, Leslie Wayne Chance Jr.,
Baton Rouge; three sisters, Irma
Quates, Hattiesburg, Miss., Mrs. Mamie
Blanton, Delhi, and Mrs.Ora Hardin,
Denham Springs; 17 grandchildren; and
21 great-grandchildren. Preceded in
death by husband, Leslie W. Chance Sr.
She was a member of First Baptist
Church.
