Funeral services for the late Julius Achsel, who died Wednesday at his home in the town of Sheboygan Falls, of heart failure, were held Sunday from the late home and at the German Reformed church in Johnsonville. Rev. H. T. Vriesen officiated and burial was made in the Johnsonville cemetery.
Mr. Achsel was born on September 26, 1866, in the town of Sheboygan Falls, and had attained the age of sixty years at the time of his death. He was born in the homestead where he died, having lived there during his entire lifetime.
In 1893 Mr. Achsel was married to Miss Augusta Meinert, of the town of Sheboygan Falls. The couple had no children. The survivors are the widow, two brothers, Richard on the homestead farm, and Herman, of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Keppler of Plymouth, and Mrs. William Marquardt, of Plymouth. Two nieces, Mrs. William Hein of Plymouth and Mrs. Charles Pratt, of this city and five nephews, William and Byron Marquardt of Plymouth and Robert, Herman and Wallace Achsel, of this city also survive.
