The 2nd of 11 children, he was the son of Albert Henry & Sarah "Sadie" Stillwagner DeChant who are buried at Lauredale Cemetery in Berks County, Pennsylvania. William was 17 years old and he died of pneumonia following an operation for appendicitis. Date obituary appeared in the paper: July 17th,1909.
