Mr. Golaz was born July 8, 1896 in Paradise where he was a lifelong resident. He Married Esther May Meadows on November 15, 1931, in Paradise. He was a framer and rancher.
Pallbearers were Gus Bridges, Harold Remmele, Meryln Remmele, Henry Kelley, Jimmy Remmele and James Armstrong.
Survivors include his wife Esther of Paradise; two daughters, Pansy Helton and Johnnie Ann Linthicum, both of Fort Worth; a sister, Opal Perkins of Memphis, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Billie Haley, Terry Helton, Jimmy Lee, Vickie Bowers, Anita Bradley and Deborah Williams; and six great grandchildren.
