GEORGE W. BILES

George W. Biles, 82-year old retired Cecil county farmer and businessman, died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at his home at "Brick Hill", after a long illness. Mr. Biles was one of the most prosperous farmers in the county and his home was the show place of the Fourth district for many years.

The deceased spent his entire life in Cecil county and for a number of years was engaged in the coal and lumber business at Providence with Harvey W. Mackey. Prior to that time he was in the butchering business with his brother, the late Ross Biles. He was a life-long member of Rock Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Biles is survived by his widow who before her marriage was Miss Ann Quinn (sic Quein), of Cherry Hill. Two daughters and a son, Mrs. Emily Kraft of Florida, Mrs. Helen Weldin (sic WELDON) of Philadelphia, and Ernest Biles of Rising Sun, also survive him.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, at his late home. Interment will be made in Sharp's Cemetery."
