She was surrounded by the love of her family and her precious Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on Nov. 1, 1914, in Fayette, the daughter of James and Nettie Plant Mitchell.
She attended Fayette Ridge School and Livermore Falls High School and was a 1934 graduate of Monmouth Academy. On Nov. 30, 1940 she married Harland L. Kennison of Oakland.
She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She also enjoyed her time as an Avon representative. She was a member of the Wayside Bible Baptist Church in Livermore and a former member of the Grange.
She enjoyed her flowers, walking, visiting with family and friends, going to garage sales and her genealogy.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Marion Davenport, Margaret Barbioni; and three brothers, Charles, Roger and Almon Mitchell.
