Billy Wayne Osborne, 41, died Wednesday, February 14, 1979, at the General Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of Shady Valley, Tennessee, born there July 22, 1937, the son of the late Joseph W. Osborne and Mrs. Mae Jones Durham. He was a resident of 202 Wickliffe Ave., Campbellsville, an employee of Ancil Reynolds Used Cars, and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Bernice Osborne of Campbellsville; his mother: Mrs. Mae Durham of Campbellsville; his step-father: Mr. Kenneth Durham of Campbellsville; three sons: Billy Osborne of Campbellsville, Mike Osborne and Greg Osborne, both of Louisville; two daughters: Tina Osborne and Thresa Osborne, both of Louisville; four step-sons: Rodger Farmer and Lee Farmer, both of Louisville, James Farmer and Michael Farmer, both of Campbellsville; six step-daughters: Mrs. Gail Linker, Mrs. Bonnie Klempner, Miss Patty Farmer, Miss Mary Farmer, and Miss Karen Farmer, all of Louisville, and Mrs. Connie Sims of Jeffersonville, Indiana; three brothers: Howard Osborne of Chagrine Falls, Ohio, Harley Osborne and Channie Osborne, both of Campbellsville; four sisters: Mrs. Lessie Redick of Richmond Heights, Ohio, Mrs. Ruth Redick of Chardin, Ohio, Mrs. Ethel Edelen of Campbellsville, and Mrs. Betty Lemmon of Louisville; two step-grandchildren; one step-brother: Mr. Charles Durham of Campbellsville; six step-sisters: Mrs. Elenoria Light of Louisville, Mrs. LaVerne Hartfield of Ohio, Mrs. Mildred Peters, Mrs. Barbara Cox, and Mrs. Patsey Glidewells, all of Campbellsville, and Mrs. Betty Keen of Florida. One brother, Lennie Osborne, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James VanHuss officiating, assisted by Rev. Chuck Redford. Interment followed in the Hardin Cemetery.
