Fern Dean Westenhofer Clark
Mrs. Fern Dean Westenhofer Clark, 75, of Ozark, Ala., died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Clark was born Aug. 21, 1936, in Indianapolis to the now late Paul R. Westenhofer and Charlotte R. Bendler Logsdon.
She sang with the Standards, The Sweet Adelines, and later with The Ridgecrest Baptist Worship Choir.
Mrs. Clark retired from Hendricks Community Hospital in Danville before relocating to Ozark in 2002. She was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark.
She is survived by son, Gregory William Clark of Ozark; daughters, Robin D. and the Rev. Jim Hill of Ozark, and Tina K. Wethington and Toni S. Belcher, both of Lebanon; sisters, Cathy Modlin and Jackie Moody of Indiana; a brother, Walter James Logsdon of California; and other siblings, Marsha Rogers, Myra Carter, Paulette Parsley, and Myron, Jerry and David Westenhofer; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John W. Clark; her half sister, Sharon Schuck; and her half brother, John Westenhofer.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the Holman Funeral Home, 995 S. Union Ave., Ozark, Ala. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark, with the Rev. Jim Hill and the Rev. Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of the funeral home.
