Gustavo M. Mendibil, 69, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2012. He was born in Brawley, California, yet raised in Sunnyvale, Ca, and lived the past 20+ years in Reno, NV. Gustavo was a proud, family oriented man, who believed deeply in the love for family.

Gustavo was retired from General Motors after 40+ years of service.

Gustavo is survived by his beautiful, loving wife Lorraine F. Mendibil of 49 years, 3 daughters, Ana Gutierrez, Nancy Radcliffe, both of Reno, NV, and Yvonne Mendibil, of Sunnyvale, CA, also 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 pm at Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Lane. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10:00 am, at St. Therese Church of the Little Flower, 875 E. Plumb Lane, followed by the interment at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery.
