RICHLANDS – Mrs. Beulah May Rose, age 85, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at a Honaker health care facility.

Born June 24, 1918, at Raven, Va., she was the daughter of the late Reece Henderson and Effie Griffith Webb. She was a retired cook for Clinch Valley Clinic for 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Shannon, Jack, Buford and Jim Webb; two sisters, Georgia Christian and Ruby Boyd; and one granddaughter, Tammy Denise Mullins Matney.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glenn Rose; one daughter, Nancy Mullins and husband Burns of Pilgrims Knob, Va.; one son, Billy Rose and wife Paula of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one grandson, Kevin Rose and wife Tracie of Texas; one great-granddaughter, Caroline Grace Rose of Texas; two brothers, Gratten Webb of Doran, Va., and Tom Webb of Roanoke; two sisters, Peggy Wells of Richlands and Alice Owens of Swords Creek, Va.

Nancy wants to thank Bernice Hess and her staff at Pleasant View Home for Adults for their wonderful love and care of her mother.

Friends may call from 6 to 7:50 p.m. Wednesday at Singleton Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, with Rev. Troy Lester and Rev. Jack Ward officiating.
