BROWN, REBECCA T. – born in Scott County, Tennessee, September 20, 1885. Deceased this life in Scott County, Tennessee, April 17, 1972 at the age of eighty six years, six months and twenty seven days. She was the daughter of the late DAUSE TRAMMELL and the late POPPY CHITWOOD TRAMMELL. She united in marriage with DAVID BROWN, August 25, 1905 and to this Union were born four children, two daughters preceded her in death. Survivors, husband, DAVID BROWN of Winfield, Tenn., two sons, ARTIST BROWN of Winfield, Tenn., ROY BROWN of Denver, Color., two sisters, Mrs. NANCY CHILDRESS of Middlesboro, Ky., Mrs. CHARITY CROSS of Miami, Florida, two brothers, SHERMAN TRAMMELL of Virginia, McKINLEY TRAMMELL of Oneida, Tenn. She also leaves four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Early in life she professed faith in Christ and united with the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her death. She was a devoted wife and mother and was admired and loved by all who knew her. We join the family in their bereavement.
