John Marvin Money, age 69 of Hull, went home to be with the Lord Sunday March 4, 2012. He passed away at his home.
Norn in Middlesboro, on June 10,1942, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Lucy Crabtree Money. He had lived in Hull for 23 years, and was retired from Athens Clarke Government.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Money Luckadoo.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Wilma Freels Money; eight children, (sons) John (Dee) Money of Clarkesville, Hoyt Money of Hull, Clayton Money of Middlesboro, Michael (Linda) Money Hendrickson of Hull, Jody (Arron) Money of Commerce, Ga., Jason Money of Hull, (daughters) Sonia (Ronnie) Seabolt of Hull, and Luci (Kenneth) Bray of Hull; brothers, Bob (Sue) Money of Hull, and Ronald (Dena) Money of Middlesboro; sisters, Barbara (Harold) Hendrickson of Hull, and Delores Davis of Middlesboro; 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Douglas Lee presiding. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday, March 8, at Shumate Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Money Cemetery.
