HENRY E. HOWARD

GREER, July 11 - Henry E. Howard, 59, died at his home here this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock following an illness of four days.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Etta Pittman Howard, four children, Mrs. Massie Hackett, Dewey and the Misses Annie and Pauline Howard, all of Greer; two sisters Mrs. Letha Fowler, Woodruff, Mrs. Mary Howard, Greer; one brother, W.M. Howard, Greer, and two grandchildren.
Mr. Howard had been employed by Franklin Mill for many years. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the Franklin Mill Baptist Church by the Rev. Walter Harrison assisted by the Rev. E.G. Harrison.
Interment will follow in Mountain View cemetary here.
Active pallbearers will be Boyce Gowan, Ed Ellis, D.H. Burnett, Andre Sylvester, Milton carver and Clat? Neal.
Pending the hour for the funeral the body will be at the home of Mrs. Hackett on Arlington Avenue.
