Born April 30, 1884, in the Town of Herman, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha Brandt Steffen, attended local schools, and moved to Johnsonville with her parents as a young girl. She never married. Miss Steffen was a member of the Saron United Church of Christ in the Town of Sheboygan Falls.
Survivors are two brothers, Raymond, with whom she made her home, and Walter of Plymouth, and one sister, Mrs.Elsie Voechting of the Town of Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Saron United Church of Christ in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. The Rev. A. A. Graf, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, from 2 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday, and then at the church from noon until the services.
