MILAN - Ernest Hugh McEwen, 84, retired carpenter, died Monday at City of Milan Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Pounds-Idlewild Cemetery near Bradford. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a graduate of Gibson High School. Mr. McEwen, the husband of Dreddie McEwen, also leaves two sons, Don McEwen of Milan and Dale McEwen of Brandon, Miss.; a brother, Tancil McEwen of Rutherford, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
