Graveside services were held Nov. 6, 1976 for Mrs. Vada Manning, 95, who died in a Mason nursing home Nov. 3, 1976.
The Rev. Jimmy Hedges, a Baptist minister, officiated at the services in the Leonard cemetery.
Born Jan. 24, 1880, at Pilot Grove, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Adams. She married Wiley Eugene Manning Aug. 20, 1900 in Pike. She was a member of Second Church of Christ Scientists in Dallas. She had attended both Grayson college in Whitewright and Kid Key college in Sherman.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Barrett of Trenton and Mrs. W. H. Leatherwood of Dallas.
