Ida Jane LUX is the daughter of Philip Lewis LUX and Anna Catherine "Kate" HEYL. William Francis THOMAS and Ida Jane LUX married on 22 Mar 1889 in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas. They had two daughters together - Elsie May THOMAS (Ferris) and Ethel Grace THOMAS (Hillman, Hunt). About 1901, after his father died, William left his wife and daughters and became employed by an American mining company in Mexico. He changed his name to Jesse William Robinson, remarried in Mexico and had five more children whose surname is ROBINSON. Ida remained first in Kansas and then in Oklahoma. She is listed in the 1910 census as a widow. In 1920, at age 52, she is living in Los Angeles, California with her parents. She returned to Oklahoma and spent the rest of her life living with her daughter Elsie May and the Ferris family.
