SOUTH BEND- Katherine Ryan Beck, 2 years old, passed away at 6:45pm on Tuesday July 7, at the home of her grandparents, Beverlie and James Beck, residing on East Randolph South Bend (SB), Ind.
Katherine was born on April 10, 1996, in SB, and had been a lifelong resident of SB.
Katherine is survived by her father, James Temple Beck of SB; her mother, Jennifer Hope Ellis of SB, a sister, Kimberly Beck, living at home; paternal grandparents, Beverlie and James Beck of SB; maternal grandparents, Donna and Jorge Pettinaroli of SB and Janet and Jack Ellis, Jr. of Miami, Fla.; paternal great grandparents, Verna L. Wiseman (the late Temple Wiseman) of SB, maternal great grandparents, Rosa and Jack Ellis, Sr. of Fort Walton Beach, FLA, three aunts, Dawn Chapla and Shawn Spite, both of SB, and Glenna DeZarn of Bloomington, Ind., two uncles, Jonathan Beck and Jack Ellis, III, both of SB. Katherine is also survived by several cousins, including Meredith Spite, who supervised day care for her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, July 11, in the Apostolic Temple, 2221 S. Ironwood, SB, IN 46613. Rev. Peter Rowe will officiate. Burial and grave site services will follow at the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger, In.
Friends may call from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Friday, July 10, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, SB, and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday morning. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Church Day Care or to the North Star Day Care.
