Fae Lemmertz, the daughter of
Edmund S. and Olive S. Wilson
Fanning was born Aug 22, 1907 in
Sac county, lowa. She died at St. Helen's hospital in Chehalis, Wash.,
on Dec 19, 1974 following a brief
illness.

On June 16, 1926 she was married to
Art Lemmertz at Jolley. The couple
farmed in Sac county for 38 years and
also lived at Alta and Nemaha before
retiring in February 1969, when they
moved into Storm Lake at 125 Kenzy.
Mr Lemmertz died in May, 1969.

She is survived by a daughter,
Phyllis, Mrs. Eugene Wilbur of
Winlock, Wash., a sister Mary, Mrs.
Martin Enckson of New Ulm, Minn.,
two brothers, Leo Fanning of Ames
and Floyd Fanning of Nemaha.

Preceding her in death were her
husband, parents, two brothers., Silas
and George, and three sisters. Edna,
Fern, and Eva.

Funeral services were held in the
Farber & Otteman funeral chapel at 2
p. m. Dec 23 with the Rev. Peter
Peterson of Nemaha officiating. Mrs.
Donald Toomer played organ music
and accompanied Mrs William
Wessendorl vocalist. Floral tributes
were cared for by Mrs. Merle Combes
and Mrs. Wayne Robinson.

Attendants were Kenneth Cole,
Richard Anderson, Maurice Mudge,
Hobart Pewsey, Harold Geisinger, and
Wayne Robinson. Interment was in
the Nemaha cemetery.
