Cloyd B. Hansen, 80, of Nampa, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at a Boise hospital.
Cloyd was born in Clear Water, Neb., on Aug. 26, 1928. He attended Boise High School and Boise State Junior College.
He married Elaine Fowers on July 24, 1950. In 1959, they moved to Shelley, Idaho, where they resided for 32 years. Cloyd was in the retail business for many years, retiring from Sears in Idaho Falls, Idaho, after 25 years as a sales manager. He retired in 1992 and they moved to Nampa, where they have since resided. Cloyd loved spending time and golfing with his family.
Cloyd is survived by his wife, Elaine Hansen of Nampa; children, Linda (Bruce) Waag of Meridian and Craig (Linda) Hansen of St. George, Utah; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate his life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Shelley Cemetery under the direction of the Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel in Nampa.
