Mary Elizabeth Fullilove McMillan, 90, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Montfort Jones Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 1-2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the Kosciusko City Cemetery. Dr. Don Patterson will officiate.
She was born October 16, 1921 in Kosciusko, MS and was the daughter of Charles Barton Fullilove and Bessie Noah Fullilove. After graduating from Kosciusko High School, she attended Holmes Junior College. She was married to Clarence Harris "Khaki" McMillan, who was serving in the Army Air Corps. They traveled to various military bases before moving to Memphis, TN, where they owned the Modern Music Store. In the early 1960's, they decided to move back to Kosciusko.
She belonged to the Kosciusko United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge player until she became ill and moved to the Attala County Nursing Center.
Survivors include three nephews, Jim Fullilove of Gulfport, MS, Mike and Carol Fullilove of Gulfport, MS, and Bob and Kate Fullilove of Manor, TX; niece, Susan Whitehead of Roslindale, MA, and Aimee Wendrock of Shreveport, LA; cousins, Jean and Stanley Taylor of Hernando, MS; and special friend, Penny Burns and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1995, parents, and brother, Air Force Brigadier General William C. Fullilove who died in 1998.
Memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Kosciusko or the charity of your choice .
