Died at 4:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 1983, at Field Memorial Hospital, Centreville, Miss. He was 54, a native of Marion County, Miss., and resident of Wilson. He was carpenter and member of Local 1098, Baton Rouge.

Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Clinton, 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Albert Wilkerson and the Rev. Anthony Yarbrough. Burial in Centreville Cemetery, Centreville.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Jimmie Saxon Morgan, Wilson; parents Mr. and Mrs. Jessie I. Morgan, McComb, Miss.; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Paula) Barnett, Clinton, Mrs. Charles (Flora Nell) Stutzman, Mrs. James (Patsy) Shaw and Mrs. Mark (Sharon) Phipps, all of Centreville; three sisters, Yvonne Morgan, Slidell, Mrs. Carl (Cathrine) Alexander and Jr. Allen (Maudine) Alexander, both of McComb; a brother, Shelby Morgan, McComb, Miss.; nine grandchildren.

He was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Robert Walker, Cliff Allen, Joe Stutzman, Mac Brown, Donald Thornton and Donald Coleman.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Local 1098, Dr. James Freeman, Dr. D.G. Trosclair, Hiram McGraw, Paul Redmond and Paul Sterling.
