Death Thurs. evening of Nicolaus Kress, age 71, as a result of a stroke. He had been stricken in the barn the Sun. before. He was a widower with 10 children. All the children are married except 3 girls, one of whom is a mute. His burial was Sun. morning in the Catholic Cemetery.
