BRIGGS, Lisa Lanay Our Beloved Angel, Lisa Lanay Briggs, was prematurely taken from us by the hand of another. Sweet Lisa was born September 21, 1971, to Raynald (Ray) and Sheryl (Jan) Croft in Hawthorne, California. Lisa moved with her family to Quartz Hill in 1979, where she was very active in 4H with her horses, graduating from Quartz Hill High School in 1989. She was a 4th generation native Californian. Lisa was married to Chris Briggs from May 2, 1992 to June 2001. Lisa and Chris together had one wonderful son, Joshua Christopher, born December 21, 1996. She was also the proud step-mother of Chris's 13 year old daughter, Kaylee. She is survived by parents, Ray and Sheryl (Jan) Croft of Rosamond. Her sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jared Lilje of Deleware, her brother Bryan Ray Croft of Rosamond. Also two nieces, Ashleigh and Olivia and two nephews, Corey and Caleb, and lots of extended family that loved her. The last 2 months of her life Lisa helped care for her grandmother, Shirley Melton in Rosamond. Professionally, Lisa had worked with several medical doctors. Recently she obtained an office managerial position with Merilee Roots opening a new facility “The Women's Image”. Our Lisa was a sensitive, caring person who always first thought of the other person. She was devoted to her son Joshua and her family and friends.
