Charles Endress of Two Rivers died on Friday evening last after a
protracted and very painful illness. One can form some realization
of the sufferings he endured when it is known that the joints in
his body were so twisted by the workings of his disease as to be
dislocated and for more than a year he has been moved by pullies,
not being able to endure the handling of a nurse. He was at one
time a very strong man. He was in all things a man entitled to the
fullest respect.
