Alpha Opal White Brewer was born May 12, 1907 in Shannon County, Mo. the daughter of Charlie O. and Iowa Williams White Ellerman and passed away January 11, 1986 at her home after a long illness, at the age of 78 years.
Alpha attended school at Bee Bluff on Current River through the eighth grade.
On July 28, 1926 she was united in marriage to Arthur Joseph Brewer in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union six children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband on October 3, 1967; one son, Arthur Brewer, Jr.; two daughters, Ann Margorie and Annett Alene Brewer Younger.
She is survived by two sons, Allan Charles Brewer and Arnold James Brewer, both of Eminence, Missouri; one daughter, Alma Jean Mooney of Lutesville, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Eulah McIntire of Eminence, Missouri.
Alpha had been an active member of the Eminence Assembly of God Church for many years. Her greatest joy was to work in her garden when she was able, because she felt close to God. She loved attending church and the fellowship of her church family.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 14 at 10 a.m. in the Duncan Funeral Chapel at Eminence with Rev. Lloyd Welch officiating.
Burial was in Alley Spring Cemetery under the direction of the Duncan Funeral Home of Eminence.
