Amanda Minnie Booth of Seattle, Washington died June 8, 1942 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Stanton. She was born April 25, 1865 at Mount Pleasant, Iowa. At a young age her mother passed away and she was raised by an older sister and her husband as their own daughter. She had 4 brothers and 3 sisters who all have passed on. She moved to Washington in 1910 and on Jan. 22, 1916 she married George B. Booth. She was survived by her husband, her daughter Zira Tennant, a grandson William Steckelberg, and a niece Mrs. Bertha Blander of Lincoln.
