MARY CATHERINE VANZILE 64, DIES AT AUBURN HOME
Mrs. Catherine VanZile, wife of Frank VanZile, aged 64 years, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, Jay VanZile in Auburn. Death was caused by complications following an illness of 16 years of diabetes.
Mrs. VanZile had been at her son's home since October this year. Prior to that time she had lived with her other children for the past year.
She was a member of the M. E. church at Leo, Ind.

Mr. and Mrs. VanZile lived on their farm in Cedar Creek township, Allen county, for 33 years.
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Jay of Auburn, and Earl of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Soule of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Orpha Akey of Grabill, Ind.; four brothers, William Lieghner of Fort Wayne, Walter Lieghner, Grabill, Ind., Ernest Lieghner, Spencerville, Ind., and Harry Lieghner of Antwerp. Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth West of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Orpha Blue of Mentone, Ind., and eight grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the home of Jay VanZile of 303 East Ninth street, Auburn, Wednesday, the Rev. James Lutey of the Leo M. E. church officiating. Place of burial was White City cemetery, Spencerville.
