He was preceded in death by: his parents, Fred Everett, Sr. and Myrtle Belle Speas Brenner and his wife, Beatrice Louise Phillips Brenner in November 2008.
Mr. Brenner was born in Memphis, Tennessee on April 7, 1923.
He was a Graduate of the US Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. Fred served his country during World War II and the Korean Conflict in the US Navy. He retired US Navy and farmer. Fred was a member of the Parkin First United Methodist Church.
Survivors are: his daughters, Valerie Jeanne Brenner of Memphis; Karen Marie Skelley of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, John A. Brenner of Parkin; sister, Mary Alta Harrison of Memphis; grandchildren, Dr. Jason Kelley of Alabama; Philip Walker Skelley of Maryland; and Kristen Belle Brenner of Memphis; one great grandchild.
Services were held at Parkin First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Cogbill Cemetery.
