Lu Ella Sowell of Conway went to be with our Lord on July 29, 2014. She was a member of Gold Creek Baptist Church of Conway. Lu Ella was born on September 30, 1928 in McRae, Arkansas to John Albert and Mary Ann Clayborn Boyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years; Troy B. Sowell, one son; Troy E. Sowell, and a brother; Albert Boyer.
Lu Ella is survived by a son Paul Sowell and wife Florence of Vilonia, AR, brother; John D. Boyer, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Pastor H.B. Shirley officiating.
Burial will follow at Grissard Cemetery in El Paso, AR.
Visitation will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway on Wednesday, July 20, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
