He was son of James Newton and Nancy Lavene Wilson Reece. A well known farmer in the West Elkton area of Preble Co. He was a bus driver and janitor for the Preble Shawnee schools for many years in the 1960's. He was a devoted Christian and a caring and nurturing father to his 3 children, Elmer, Darrell and Marcella. And a loving husband to his wife Provie White Reece, who preceded him in death in 1980.
He was a true story teller and loved life. And he loved to play the banjo and harmonica. A true fisherman and he always made sure that his family went on vacations every year. A GREAT DAD AND I MISS YOU VERY MUCH. Even at 95 years old it was still too soon for you to leave.
