Young Man Dead.

A. G. Cobb of Dillon Victim of Influenza and Pneumonia.

Special to The State.

A. G. Cobb, one of Dillon's best young men, died at the hospital here Friday afternoon about 5 o'clock, after a week's illness with influenza and pneumonia. He was very popular with the young men of town and was a sober, industrious and genteel young man. He had held for the past three years a responsible position with I. Blum Company of this place. He came to Dillon in 1911 and until going with the Blum Company held a position with L. Cottingham. He was regarded as one of the best and steadfast young men his employers ever had. He was about 28 years old and his former home was at Rowland, N.C. He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Cobb of Rowland, and two brothers and five sisters. The body was taken to Ashpole Presbyterian Church, near Rowland, for burial.
