OBITUARY :
CLYDE EDWARD ENSMINGER, 87, formerly of 355 West Side Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital.

Born April 18, 1920 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Elden W. Ensminger and Minnie A. Palmer Ensminger Ripple.

He was employed with Met Fab Industries, retiring in 1985. Prior to that he was employed with New York Central Iron Works for thirty-five and a half years.

He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Friendship Men's Bible Class, and the Grace United Methodist Men.

He was a member of the Antietam Fire Hall, A.A.R.P., and West End Senior Citizens.

He is survived by his wife, Edna R. Rossman Ensminger; three sons, Richard L. Ensminger of Weatherford, Texas, Robert D. Ensminger of Brainerd, Minnesota, and Charles E. Ensminger of Selma, North Carolina; one sister, Evelyn L. Bowders of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Grace United Methodist Church, 712 Church Street, Hagerstown. Rev. David R. Brosnan will officiate. Burial will be the Beautiful View Cemetery in State Line, Maryland.

Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the church.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Clyde to the Grace United Methodist Church Elevator Fund, 712 Church Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
