He was born in Joliet on February 3, 1948 and most recently a resident of Arkadelphia, Arkansas for the past six years. Previously, he lived in Joliet and Freeport, Illinois.
Frank was in the Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam war from 1966 to 1969 achieving the rank of Corporal. He received medals for National Defense Service, Vietnamese Campaign, Vietnam Service and Good Conduct. He also received the Presidential Unit Citation.
Frank was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved fishing and camping at Wood Haven Lakes with his family and friends. A caring man who would do anything for anyone.
Frank is survived by three daughters; Tina (Tracy) Doubler, Jaclyn (Oscar) Burford, Terah (Adam) Bielec, granddaughters; Chelsey (Eric) Doubler and Mackenzie Doubler, his step mother Phyllis Bielec-Quigley, one brother; Robert Bielec, four sisters; Pat Potter, Kay (John) Ventura, Kimberly (Andy) Zamora, Laura (Ponch) Palacios, numerous nieces, nephews family members and friends. He is also survived by dogs, Dolly, Buddy and his cat.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Adam and Marie (nee Spiech) Bielec, grandparents; Frank and Xenia Bielec, Joseph and Catherine Spiech.
