James Henry Brash, 83, formerly of 126 Beverly Rd., West Hartford, died at Hartford Hospital Saturday. Born in Glasgow Scotland, he lived in West Hartford for most of his life. He was employed 40 years at M.J. Burnham Co. of West Hartford and retired in 1958. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hartford. He leaves two brothers, Andrew A. Brash of Bloomfield and J. Gordon Brash of West Hartford; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 136 South Main St., West Hartford, with the Rev. Frank R. Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
