AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. J. Frank Davidson, 96, of Augusta, GA, beloved husband of the late Virginia Pauline Griffith Davidson, entered into eternal peace Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at The Place at Martinez.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2pm at Elliott Sons Funeral, Telfair Street Chapel. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Born in Grovetown, GA, he was the son of the late Jones Edkar Davidson and Paris Irene Barden Davidson. A lifelong resident of Augusta, he was a member of Curtis Baptist Church and served his country in the Army. Frank loved fishing, hunting, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. He is survived by his daughters, Hazel (Jack) Nordahl, Augusta; Frankie (Galen) Welch, Augusta; son, Eddy (Judy) Davidson, Martinez; grandchildren, Russ Nordahl, Tammy Nordahl, Renee (Keith) McKinney, Randy Sheffield, Todd (Cathy) Davidson, Faith Davidson, and seven great grandchildren.
