-Per St. Gregory church records, Julianna's parents were John and Marianna Gmeiner.

-Julianna Gmeiner and Henry Niederprum were married at St. Nazianz in 1859 by Father Ambrose Oschwald who was the leader of the 1854 St. Nazianz Oswald Colony settlers.

-They had 9 children. 6 of the 9 children died as infants and children of diptheria. Three children survived which were Mrs. Mary Niederprum Baer , Math and Theresa.
