Dorothy A. Young, 83, of Perry, Fla., passed away at Advent Christian Village on March 14th, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on Dec. 3rd, 1929, in Newport, PA. She was the daughter of the late Anna and Frank Manning, also of Newport.
She is survived by sons Charles Bower and wife Peggy of Del., Drew Bower of Texas, Kris Young and wife Julie of Fla., daughter Linda Morgan and husband Ed of PA, Brother Harold and wife Julia of PA, and 10 grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her sister Helen Shutt, brother William Manning, and sons Patrick Young and Steven Bower.
Graveside services will be held at the Newport Cemetery Sat., March 24th, at 2:00 p.m.
