BLANCHARD, LA - Graveside services for Alice Lorraine King, 87, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Old Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard, LA.
Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday March 23, 2012 at Aulds Funeral Home.
Alice was born in Memphis, TN on January 24, 1925 to John and Nina Stokes. She passed away on March 21, 2012 at The Grace Home in Shreveport.
She was a resident of Blanchard and a member of the Shreveport Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Frank A. McManamy, her 2nd husband, Bert E. King, Sr., and her son Harvey King.
She is survived by her sons, Frank A. McManamy and wife Sarah, Bert E. King and wife Bobbie, Henry R. King and wife Ethel, James C. King and wife Tina;
daughters Lois I. Robinson and husband Charles, and Lillian King; 34 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; sister Carolyn Stienman and husband Scotty; and family friend Kathy King.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Robinson, C.J. Robinson,III, James C. King,Jr., Bryan Anderson, Charlie Robinson, Jr., and Zachary Jenson.
