Robert Nebelung, 63 years of age of La Porte, IN, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at IU Health LaPorte Hospital .
He was born in LaPorte on July 26, 1948, son of Lawrence and Ethel (Zeitz) Nebelung.
Robert loved fishing and bowling.
He worked as a foundry man for 42 years with Teledyne Castings.
Surviving are his son: Charles (Michele) Nebelung of Kingsford Heights; 2 granddaughters: Elonda & Hailey Nebelung; 4 sisters: Ruth Martin of LaPorte, Virginia Stonkus of Brockton, MA, Carol Camp of Leechburg, PA, Alice James of LaPorte, one brother: Charles Nebelung of LaPorte; and many nieces and nephews. His dogs Lucy, Coco, and Ringo also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Carl Nebelung.
Friends will be received from 1-5 P.M. on Sunday, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LaPorte, IN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 5 PM with officiating.
Interment will follow at a later date at Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
