Mr. Brown was a longtime former owner and operator of Browns Body Shop in Franklin, and a member of First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Brown of Franklin; sons, Mike Brown of Lebanon, Lee Wheat of Franklin, Keith (Vickie) Wheat of Murfreesboro; mother, Bonnell Brown of Nashville; sisters, Barbara Carol (H.T.) Evans of Florida, Bonita Davis of Nashville; special brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Warner & Wanda Taylor; grandchildren, Whitley & Hannah Wheat, and Taylor & Thomas Wheat.
Services were conducted 11 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2007 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Roger Parker and John Williams officiating. Interment followed at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Bill Davis, Gerald Gooding, Jerry Wells, John Shomo, B.G. Petty, Dennis Anglin and Bobby Langley.
