William Orien Aldrich dies
Services will be held Wednesday At 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel at Hall Brothers Mortuary for a long time Richfield resident, William Orien Aldrich who died Sunday, Nov. 22 in Enloe Hospital in Chico.
Aldrich was born Dec. 23, 1899 in Helena , Montana and had lived on River Road for 60 years. He was 81. He was a car man for Southern Pacific Railroad for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife Mildred of Richfield, two sons, Orien Aldrich of Fullerton and Melvin Aldrich of Simi Valley; a sister, Mae Larson of Sacramento, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rev. James A. Knox of the First United Presbyterian Church will officiate at the services and burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Services held for W. O. Aldrich
Services for William O. Aldrich, long time resident who died in Chico last Sunday, were held at 10:30 a.m. today in the chapel of Hall Brothers Mortuary.
The Rev. James A. Knox of the First United Presbyterian Church officiated.
Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Branham, Erwin Arndt, Ed Aldrich, John Aldrich, Dan Aldrich and Jim Book. Lloyd Lockie was an honorary pallbearer.
