Abbie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Humphrey, died at their home in the southwest part of town, Tuesday, January 7, 1902, in her twenty first year. The funeral was held at the residence Wednesday afternoon. Rev. E. M. Furman officiating. Miss Humphrey was born March 11, 1881, in Jefferson county, five miles south of Western. When a child she sustained a severe injury from a fall and was an intense sufferer during her life.
