Mrs. Howard (ElIen Keith) Alley,
71. Conrad resident since 1945,
died Sunday in a Great Falls
hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in First Christian
Church, Conrad. Burial was in
the cemetery in Chester under
direction of Wyse Funeral Home.
She was born March 10,1904, in
Alma. north of Joplin,
attended school in Chester and
graduated high school in Oxford,
Kansas. She married Alley
Aug. 24, 1922, at Winfield,
Kansas and they moved to
Montana in March, 1929,
subsequently living in Chester
and in Great Falls. They moved
to Conrad in 1945, recently
taking residence in a retirement
home there.
Survivors include the widower;
sons, Bert, Joplin, and
Keith, Homestead, Fla.;
daughters, Mrs. Robert (Una)
Moog, Inverness; Mrs. Lee
(Ellen) Fry, Great Falls; and
VerDel Pourroy, Conrad; sisters.
Ina Furlong, Chester; Lola
Zimmerman, Shelby; Mabel Graber,
Wichita. Kansas; and
Frances Moore. Winfield. Kansas.
