Puz was the 7th child born to William Martin Roberts and Dora Ellen Caudle Roberts. She married Eugene Bohan and they had one child Irma Jean Bohan. Puz' second husband was Fredrick Newton Sparks from Carbon Hill, Walker, Alabama, USA. Puz and Fred had two children: Margaret Jane Sparks and Johnny Sparks. Jane died in 1982 about two weeks after childbirth. Johnny Sparks builds stadiums and is currently living in New York.
