Mrs. Anna E. Thayer, 74 years old, passed away this morning at her home, 834 Geele avenue, after an illness of long duration.
Deceased was born August 26, 1862, in the town of Meeme, Manitowoc county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bohne. She lived in the town of Meeme until she was twenty years of age when she went east, living at different times at Cape Cod, Baltimore, Md., and Boston, Mass. On November 10, 1897, she was united in marriage to Frederick Thayer, who preceded her in death at Baltimore in 1922. She then returned to Sheboygan where she lived until her death. She was a member of the Congregational church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lucile Jerauld of Cape Cod, Mass.; two brothers, Herman and Fred Bohne of the town of Meeme; two sisters, Mrs. Emelia Kolb of the town of Meeme, and Mrs. John Reineman of Burlington, Wis., and four grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Ballhorn funeral temple, the Rev. Wilford H. Evans officiating. Interment will be in the family lot at Wildwood cemetery.
Friends may view the body beginning Sunday morning."
